“Last year, Jolanta planned and executed 2 after school workshops for classroom teachers and Teachers of the Arts. Each workshop was tailored to a specific division with skill and meticulous detail to ensure all participants left feeling enthusiastic and empowered to teach Dance and a better understanding of the Dance curriculum.”
“Jolanta (also) respects the standards of teaching and ethical practice in all that she does. Jolanta is committed to student and student learning at an academic level as well as a professional level.”
Canada’s National Academy of Dance Education should be applauded for its promotion of dance and its ability to positively impact the lives of students. When teachers are taught strategies not only in dance technique but also in ways to reach all students, dance becomes an avenue for all students to learn and grow.
I loved the passion all of the presenters shared. It was wonderful that Jo opened up and shared her personal experience as a dancer at York. Very moving and very inspiring – keep doing what your doing! Can’t wait for the next conference
The idea of bring dance educators together from the studio experience and from education is great.
This conference was a great opportunity to hear and share experiences from dance educators and to make connections with professionals, and scholars. We revisited technique through a session in floor barre, and choreography. It is a conference for dancers, choreographers, dance educators and those individuals who would like to find connections between the artistic field, the studio world, and the school systems. My creativity was nurtured through attending this conference.
Attending CNADE Dance Educator’s Conference was a great way to meet and connect with others and to hear about the latest happenings in the dance world. It was refreshing to be surrounded by both dance teachers in the school and studio settings. I left feeling inspired to start the new year.
The presenters were knowledgeable and enthusiastic. I recommend the CNADE workshops for those individuals looking to further their knowledge and become better educators.
