Prospect Leadership Program

Applications due September 30th, 2018 for October start!

The CNADE Prospect Leadership Program (PLP) is designed for the serious dancer who is aspiring to have a career in dance and/or pursue dance at the post-secondary level at college, university or with a dance company.

Program Highlites: The PLP program is flexible enough to allow the teen dancer to keep up with their academics as they enter into a more demanding highschool curriculum, yet still provides a technical, challenging and engaging syllabus.  The PLP program introduces dancers into the world of teaching and choreography while perfecting their own technique.  Students study the creative process, the elements of dance and progression, to gain some understanding of a career as a choreographer or dance educator.  Students also partake in weekly classes that cover resume writing, business and dance technology. PLP students have priority when registering for special guest choreographer/teacher Master classes and workshops.  An unique opportunity only available to PLP graduates is that they are invited to network with educators across Canada by volunteering at our annual Dance Educators conference.
