Prize Pack for Dance Assistant of the Year:
Canada’s National Academy of Dance Education is pleased to present the awards for 2017 CNADE Dance Educator Awards. The awards recognize Canadian Dance Educators (studio/school board), Studio Owners and Dance Assistants who demonstrate a commitment to lifelong learning and professional development in Dance Education. They also encourage and foster an environment of lifelong learning for those they teach and/or work with in their communities.
Hunter Roberts-Carter is a 16 year old dancer and dance assistant from Calgary, Alberta. She turned 3 during her first year of dance at a recreational community dance program, and started competing at age 12. Hunter loves student teaching because it gives her the opportunity to share her passion for dance and teaches her valuable life skills like leadership. Most recently, Hunter has found her love for hip-hop which has become her teaching focus.
Contest Rules & Regulations
The 2018 Dance Educator Awards will be administered according to the following guidelines. Nominators and nominees must comply with these guidelines, and they will be deemed to have read and understood the requirements if they participate in the awards nomination process. Award nominations can be made by individuals who are:
NOMINEES, NOMINATORS & GUESTS MUST BE @ LEAST 18 YEARS OF AGE TO ENTER (exception Dance Assistant of Year 16-18 yrs)
NOMINATOR MUST NOT BE RELATED TO THE NOMINEE. (ie. FAMILY)
NOMINATION THAT ARE INCOMPLETE OR DO NOT COMPLY WITH THESE GUIDELINES MAY BE DISQUALIFIED.
TOTAL PRIZE VALUE $200 CAD
CHANCES OF WINNING ARE DETERMINED BY THE NUMBER OF ENTRIES WE RECEIVE
WINNERS WILL BE NOTIFIED BY EMAIL BY JAN. 15, 2019.
NOMINEES MUST BE A CANADIAN CITIZEN.
DECISIONS MADE BY THE AWARDS SELECTION COMMITEE ARE FINAL.
IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act, PERSONAL INFORMATION ABOUT THE NOMINATORS AND NOMINEES IS COLLECTED FOR THE SOLE PURPOSE OF ADMINISTERING THE 2018 CNADE DANCE EDUCATOR AWARDS. IT WILL BE USED TO SELECT AND PUBLICIZE THE ACHIEVEMENTS OF AWARD RECIPIENTS.
WE THANK ALL PARTICIPANTS FOR THEIR INTEREST; HOWEVER, ONLY SUCCESSFUL NOMINATORS AND NOMINESS WILL BE CONTACTED REGARDING AWARD RESULTS.
BY SUBMITTING THE NOMINATION FORM, EACH NOMINATOR AND NOMINEE: • Agrees to abide by the guidelines that govern the 2018 CNADE DANCE EDUCATOR AWARDS; • Consents to having their photograph taken for awards-related publicity purposes; • Consents to the use of their name, community, photograph and nomination material in any awards-related publicity carried out by Canada’s National Academy of Dance Education;
INDIVIDUALS CANNOT BE NOMINATED IN MORE THAN ONE AWARD CATEGORY. IF MORE THAN ONE NOMINATION IS SUBMITTED FOR THE SAME NOMINEE IN DIFFERENT CATEGORIES, ONLY THE FIRST NOMINATION RECEIVED WILL BE CONSIDERED.
NOMINATIONS CANNOT BE SUBMITTED WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF THE NOMINEE.
NOMINEES MUST MEET THE ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA OUTLINED IN THIS NOMINATION PACKAGE.
NOMINATIONS THAT ARE INCOMPLETE OR DO NOT COMPLY WITH THESE GUIDELINES MAY BE DISQUALIFIED. CNADE Inc. TAKES NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR INCOMPLETE, INACCURATE, LOST OR LATE NOMINATIONS.
NOMINATIONS MUST BE RECEIVED NO LATER THAN DEC. 31st, ‘18.
WINNERS (and their guests) MUST REGISTER FOR THE CONFERENCE ONLINE AT LEAST 30 DAYS PRIOR TO THE CONFERENCE DATE TO RESERVE THEIR SPOT.
IF THE WINNERS FAIL TO CONFIRM THEIR ATTENDANCE AT THE CONFERENCE BY REGISTERING ONLINE 30 DAYS BEFORE THE CONFERENCE DATE THE WINNER AND THEIR GUEST WILL LOOSE THEIR RESERVED SPOTS (Max. of 2 spots total) AND THEIR SPOTS WILL BE MADE AVAILABLE TO THE PUBLIC.
WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO CANCEL THE CONFERENCE DUE TO LOW REGISTRATION, IN WHICH CASE NO PRIZE WILL BE AWARDED.
